Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Assistant II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Certified Nurse Assistant II, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide routine patient care tasks, such as vital sign collection and documentation, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Support the Registered Nurse in patient care delivery, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Utilize judgment to perform tasks and refer more complex issues to the Registered Nurse.
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, documenting and relaying messages accurately.
Maintain accurate records and reports, verifying understanding of information and seeking clarification when necessary.

Requirements:

One year of experience as a CNA 1.
High School Diploma or related medical assistant experience.
Completion of an OSBN-approved CNA 1 Program.
Current Oregon CNA 2 Acute Care Certification (if hired after 11/17/08).
BLS with AED certification within thirty days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a CNA 2 Acute Care preferred.
Computer keyboarding skills preferred.
