**Job Summary**

As a Backroom Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and processing shipments, organizing and maintaining the receiving area, and tracking and processing claims.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and post delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of merchandise
• Compile and organize receiving reports to track inventory levels and identify discrepancies
• Verify merchandise counts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Route merchandise to proper locations to optimize storage and accessibility
• Paying expenses in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Receiving merchandise for the facility and organizing and maintaining the receiving area
• Tracking and processing claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, and maintaining and cleaning the clearance area
• Maintaining safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity

**What We Offer**

At Sam's Club, we offer a competitive hourly wage range of $18.00 to $25.00, with the actual hourly rate equaling or exceeding the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. We also offer additional compensation in the form of premiums, which may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

**Requirements**

• Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of job entry date
• Must be 18 years of age or older
