Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patient problems, including prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
  • Order diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures, perform those tests and procedures when using health care equipment, and interpret and use the results of diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures.
  • Provide palliative and end-of-life care, advanced counseling, patient education, health education, and patient advocacy.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing.
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner.
  • TNCC certification.
  • Current and unrestricted license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification by a provider recognized by the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of two years or more within general medicine or urgent care specialties.
