Job Overview

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist to work in the Portland, Maine area.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience as an ultrasonographer and hold ARDMS certification, BLS certification (AHA), and current state license (if applicable).

This is a 24-week assignment with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, requiring 9-hour shifts. You'll be working in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility, using ultrasound equipment to take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and process images for radiologists and physicians
  • Handle patient records and maintain accurate documentation
