Salary: $92,500 per annum.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Restaurant Associates. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and workplace safety across all our locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health codes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with building services and vendors to address health risks and facility issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of health permits and scores.
  • Train and educate staff on food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly safety calls with RA & Regional QA teams.
  • Communicate effectively with management, staff, and vendors to ensure a cohesive approach to health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Candidate should possess 5-10 years of kitchen experience or 3-5 years as a field inspector.
  • Strong knowledge of local and state health codes.
  • Ability to teach and train others on safety and sanitation practices.
  • ServSafe certified and DOH Food Protection card holder.
