About the Role

BAE Systems is seeking a skilled FPGA Design Manager to lead our Electronic Systems team. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of FPGA design engineers, driving innovation, and delivering cutting-edge solutions.

Job Description

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement FPGA designs, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of FPGA design engineers in developing innovative solutions.
  • Plan and execute projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in FPGA design, development, and project management.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of FPGA architecture, design tradeoffs, and development processes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
