Job Summary:

UHS is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our LifeWorks Schools team in Levittown, PA. As a Science Teacher, you will provide academic instruction to students with diverse needs, utilizing a comprehensive educational curriculum that actively engages each student throughout the day. Responsibilities:

• Provide academic instruction to students with varying learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student academic achievement through grades, observations, and other quantitative methods.
• Collaborate with students, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Manage classroom behavior through established systems and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Current content area teaching certification
• Experience or certification in Special Education preferred
• Prior experience working with students with behavioral health challenges in a school setting highly desirable
