Job Summary:

As an Orthopedic Imaging Specialist at OrthoCincy, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent orthopedic care in a patient-centered environment. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the delivery of high-quality imaging services, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct X-ray procedures with precision and accuracy, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Maintain radiological quality assurance standards, ensuring that imaging equipment is in good working order and that patients receive high-quality images.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide compassionate support to patients in distress, promoting dignity and respect.

Requirements:

Certified as a medical radiologic technologist, as required by the state.
Associate degree in Radiological Technology from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.

Performance Expectations:

Demonstrate knowledge of radiology procedures and protocols, as well as anatomy and physiology necessary for radiology testing.
Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with patients, physicians, and colleagues.

Work Environment:

Radiological unit, with frequent standing and walking required.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and use appropriate body mechanics techniques when making patient transfers and assisting patients with walking, dressing, etc.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

Remain focused and attentive without distractions, with occasional kneeling, stooping, bending, or reaching required.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
