Fire Sprinkler Mechanic Job Opportunity

A well-established Mechanical Construction Contractor with over 50 years of construction experience is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Mechanic for their Caribbean location.

The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 5 years of recent verifiable experience with inspecting, installing, testing, and repairing multiple types of fire suppression systems.

Caribbean projects primarily involve installing mechanical systems in healthcare-related, multi-family residential, educational, hospitality, and correctional facilities for government and private sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing sprinkler pipe and hose systems
  • Repairing defective sprinkler systems
  • Assembling pipes using building blueprints and schematics
  • Testing sprinkler systems to ensure they are working correctly

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of recent experience
  • Personal hand/power tools required for sprinkler pipe installation
  • Experience with commercial new construction
  • Ability to live and work on the Caribbean Islands
  • Proper IDs for employment (US Passport a plus)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
