About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Monitor Technician to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Telemetry Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and using telemetry monitoring equipment, collecting and reporting patient information, and serving as a patient advocate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate competency in the set up and use of telemetry monitoring equipment.
- Collect, report, and document patient information (rhythms/rate) timely and accurately.
- Seek assistance, supervision, or consultation when unsure of rhythm(s) identification.
- Serve as a patient advocate.
- Use Professional Practice Model philosophy to work in partnership with patients, families, physicians, peers, and all other disciplines.
- Practice acceptable use of interpersonal relationship skills with patients, families, co-workers, physicians, all disciplines, and other customers.
