Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at KNOWiNK, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining advanced voter registration systems. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying robust, secure, and scalable software solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Windows Applications: Design, develop, and maintain Windows applications using .NET WPF, leveraging your expertise to create high-performance and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Build Responsive Web Applications: Develop modern, responsive web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, and .NET Blazor, ensuring seamless user experiences across various devices and platforms.
  • Deploy and Manage Cloud Environments: Deploy and manage web applications in cloud environments like AWS and Azure, utilizing your knowledge to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner: Collaborate with the product owner and team members to define project requirements, deliver features, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop Front-end and Back-end Components: Develop, test, and maintain both front-end and back-end components, ensuring cohesive and efficient system architecture.
  • Implement Unit Tests and Code Quality: Implement unit tests and ensure code quality, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Design and Maintain APIs: Design and maintain APIs that enable smooth integrations across systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and minimizing technical debt.
  • Participate in Agile Methodologies: Participate in Agile development methodologies, leveraging tools like JIRA for project management, to facilitate efficient collaboration and timely delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience and Skills: 3+ years of experience as a full stack developer or in a similar role, with proficiency in front-end technologies including React, Angular, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • .NET WPF and Desktop Applications: Experience developing desktop applications using .NET WPF, with hands-on expertise in creating high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
  • AWS and Azure: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure for application deployment and management, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Back-end Technologies: Solid understanding of back-end technologies, including .NET Core, Node.js, and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or similar), with experience writing and maintaining unit tests for your code.
  • API Design and Development: Experience designing and developing APIs (REST, GraphQL), ensuring seamless data exchange and minimizing technical debt.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for project tracking, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
