Optum Healthcare Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
Assist in submitting daily requests for referrals/authorizations
Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments and tests per office protocols
Meet or exceed performance measures established by the Practice Management Department
Deliver quality customer service consistent with Optum's service standards

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications
Ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner
Skilled in problem-solving to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a related environment using phones and computers as primary job tools
Prior healthcare experience
