Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Specialist to join our team at UCHealth's Interventional Radiology department. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patients to maintain a safe environment, and optimizing outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-procedure preparations, including preparing the environment, orienting and assessing the patient, and reviewing medical records to ensure safety checklists are complete.
  • Responding to life-threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
  • Providing nursing care in a technically complex environment.
  • Evaluating learning needs of patients and/or families and providing patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with 6 months of experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisive judgments.
