Optical Sales Professional

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store. This involves setting the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by consistently delivering sales plans and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
Main Responsibilities
- Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
- Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to provide the perfect vision solution.
- Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
- Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
- Maintain the appearance of the store and ensure displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
- Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
- Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
- Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Self-motivation with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
