Patient Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team at i-Health Inc. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for all patients who interact with our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Greets patients in a timely and professional manner, obtaining demographic and billing information to facilitate accurate and timely billing procedures.
- Photocopies patients' insurance cards, obtains signatures, and performs registration protocol to ensure seamless check-in processes.
- Answers phones in a timely and professional manner, scheduling appointments and reviewing provider schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
- Has a general understanding of medical records protocols, confidentiality, and payment rules to release information as needed.
- Fully participates in patient-centered healthcare, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Customer service experience required, with administrative or medical office experience preferred.
- Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and business ethics guidelines.
- Complete job-required training.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, and employment laws.
- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance.
- Work in the clinic during business hours, traveling independently throughout the clinic as needed.
- Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner.
- Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet daily operations expectations.
