Job Summary:

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team in the Audiology Department at Fanny Allen campus. As a key member of our Rehabilitation Therapies Department, you will provide diagnostic audiologic evaluations and hearing aid services for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations to diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders.
  • Provide hearing aid services, including selection, fitting, and programming.
  • Collaborate with other departments and referral sources to ensure effective patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) or American Board of Audiology (ABA) Certification.
  • Current state licensure in Audiology.
  • Experience in a medical/hospital setting, pediatric experience, and hearing aid experience preferred.
