**Job Summary**
UPMC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Harrisburg. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing routine medical procedures, and assisting with patient transfers.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
**Requirements:**
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state where employed or eligible for compact licensure.
- BLS OR CPR certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
**Estimated Salary Range:** $52,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
