Job Description

Paylocity is a leading provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions, empowering businesses to automate and streamline HR and payroll processes, attract and retain top talent, and build a strong workplace culture.

As a key member of the Sales & Marketing team, you will help drive business growth by developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The HCM Account Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, leveraging the company's expertise and industry knowledge to provide tailored solutions to clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating net-new business opportunities through telemarketing, referrals, and professional contacts
  • Scheduling and presenting Paylocity services to prospective clients
  • Preparing and presenting proposals, and providing follow-up throughout the sales process
  • Organizing and completing documentation required for clients to transition to Paylocity's system
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure a smooth transition for clients
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers to determine needs for additional services
  • Attending trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity's services
  • Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales position
  • Ability to succeed in a competitive environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain high activity standards and handle objections
  • Customer service orientation
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet

The pay range for this position is $60,000-$85,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for our variable commission plan and an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
