Rehabilitation Therapist Role Overview

About this Role:
  • This role will assist Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Speech Pathologists in carrying out individual restorative programs.
  • The successful candidate will communicate effectively with residents, preventing neglect, abuse, and violations of rights and privacy.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for sanitizing whirlpool tubs, showers when used in restorative therapy.
  • Assist residents with ambulation and transfer as needed.
  • Able to lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
Requirements:
  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • 6-12 months relevant experience strongly recommended in a rehab setting.
  • CPR certification (when required).

Salary & Benefits:

Estimated Salary Range: $21-$23 per hour.
