We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Teton Therapy.

About the Job

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients reach their peak results through physical and occupational therapy.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform treatment sessions with patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care. You will also educate patients and/or caregivers about their condition and prognosis, explaining exercises and therapies in a clear and concise manner.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will be responsible for keeping accurate documentation of each visit, updating patient plans as needed, and discharging patients when necessary under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.

  • Understanding of Pediatric Treatment
  • Understanding of Neurological Treatments
  • Manual Therapy
  • Knowledge of OT stretches and exercises
  • Solid knowledge of anatomy
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Ability to lift patients and help them move
  • Ability to read and execute detailed instructions
  • Recommending Modifications of Treatment to Occupational Therapist
  • Knowledge of how to progress treatment
