The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a highly skilled Business Office Manager to oversee all functions of the Business Office, ensuring the accurate reporting of financial information to corporate personnel.

Job Summary:

The Business Office Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing business office functions, including employee safety, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and customer service. This includes overseeing reception activities, ensuring timely and accurate submission of billings to reimbursement agencies and private payers, and setting up and maintaining financial files for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee and manage all financial functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and resident financial information.
  • Reception and Customer Service: Ensure timely and accurate submission of billings, manage reception activities, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families.
  • Financial File Management: Set up and maintain financial files for residents, including billing, admission papers, and reimbursement documents.
  • Medicaid Experience: Possess experience working with Medicaid and other reimbursement agencies.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of bookkeeping experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Medicaid Experience: Experience working with Medicaid and other reimbursement agencies.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Superior organization skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Multi-Tasking: Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
