Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide clinical support in the Otolaryngology department at Swedish First Hill. This role involves assisting in patient care, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed practitioners with patient care, including vital signs, injections, and other clinical tasks
- Prepare and maintain patient charts, records, and other documents
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent experience
- Washington State Medical Assistant Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
- 6 months of healthcare experience
