About the Role

This position requires a seasoned Physical Therapist Assistant with a strong background in post-operative care. The successful candidate will have experience educating caregivers and patients on safe gait, transfer, and stair negotiation techniques, as well as initiating exercises tailored to individual needs.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Providing patient education and training on post-operative care, including safe mobility and exercise techniques.
  • Collaborating with surgical center staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Documenting patient progress accurately and efficiently.
  • Participating in research studies supported by the clinic.
  • Maintaining and enhancing professional skills through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Associate of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or equivalent.
  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum.
