About the Role

As a Senior Compensation Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and implementing competitive compensation programs that empower employees to thrive. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and drive a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with business objectives, supports employee engagement, and maintains market competitiveness.

You will conduct in-depth market research and salary benchmarking to ensure we stay competitive in attracting and retaining top talent. Additionally, you will design and manage base pay structures, incentive plans, and bonus programs that motivate performance and reward results.

Your expertise in compensation software, job evaluation systems, and tools will enable you to streamline processes and improve efficiency. You will also collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to implement strategies that enhance employee satisfaction, support talent acquisition, and drive retention efforts.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for various audiences. You will work closely with HR teams, Finance, and department leaders to ensure solutions meet both business and employee needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and drive a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with business objectives, supports employee engagement, and maintains market competitiveness
  • Conduct in-depth market research and salary benchmarking to ensure we stay competitive in attracting and retaining top talent
  • Design and manage base pay structures, incentive plans, and bonus programs that motivate performance and reward results
  • Partner with Accounting to oversee equity compensation programs, including ESPP, stock option grants, and long-term incentive plans, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Collaborate closely with HR teams, Finance, and department leaders to ensure solutions meet both business and employee needs
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation management or related roles, with proven expertise in developing compensation strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to make informed decisions
  • Experience in designing, analyzing, and managing various compensation programs, including base pay, bonus structures, equity plans, and incentive compensation plans
  • Expertise in compensation software, job evaluation systems, and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts for various audiences
