Job Overview

BrightStar Care is seeking dedicated Home Health Care Specialists to provide top-notch care to clients in Johnson County and surrounding areas. As a Home Health Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and personalized care to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary reflects the growing demand for skilled home health care professionals in the area and the importance of providing excellent care to our clients.

Job Description

As a Home Health Care Specialist with BrightStar Care, your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one care to our clients in their homes. This may include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Helping with meal preparation and transportation to appointments
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to maintain accurate records of client care, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

  • CPR certification (BLS- Red Cross or American Heart Association)
  • Negative TB skin test within the last 30 days
  • Able to pass drug screen
  • Proof of COVID vaccination highly recommended
  • Current Flu vaccination highly recommended
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
