Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team of psychiatric providers, clinicians, and care coordinators. As a Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychologist at the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological services to children and families with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions for children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance evaluation processes and provide capacity evaluations for adult IDD clients.
- Develop and implement trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices to meet the diverse needs of our clientele.
- A degree in Clinical Psychology with one year of clinical experience, particularly working with emotionally troubled children and impacted families.
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist with the Virginia Board of Psychology.
- Proficiency in various software and tools applicable to psychological assessments and documentation.
- An annual salary of $110,000.
