Production Team Coordinator

We are seeking a reliable and driven Production Team Coordinator to join our UniFirst family. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and quality in the mending area of the plant.

Key responsibilities include observing team partners to ensure compliance with company, federal, and state safety and occupational regulations, inspecting machines and equipment to ensure operational performance and optimum utilization, scheduling and ensuring an adequate level of trained team partners, training and coaching team partners on assigned job duties and responsibilities, measuring results with a focus on incremental continuous improvements, overseeing the inspection, repair, and replacement of garments as necessary, managing all aspects of the In-plant CAN (Change as Needed) process, ensuring that all mended products conform to required comfort, appearance, and durability standards, and overseeing all mending work orders to ensure timely completion.

What You'll Need
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Two-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • 2-4 years of related experience and/or training
  • Familiarity with Windows Operating systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
