About the Role

As an Electrophysiology Specialist at Johns Hopkins Medicine, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled EEG Technician I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients with intractable seizure disorder problems, operating epilepsy monitoring and computer equipment, and performing special treatments associated with the care of acutely ill patients with seizures.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report seizures
  • Operate epilepsy monitoring and computer equipment
  • Perform special treatments associated with the care of acutely ill patients with seizures
  • Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge
Requirements
  • BLS certification
  • Knowledge of electrographic seizures or interictal seizure discharges
  • Ability to identify brainwaves and artifacts
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.55 - $45.50 per hour, commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
