Job Description

As a Business Development Manager at Michael Page, you'll own a varied and stimulating role that challenges you daily. You'll develop your interpersonal and commercial skills, giving you real opportunities for personal and professional growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Hunting new business opportunities and lead generation within your target market and territory
  • Managing the process from interview through offer stage and close of sale
  • Building close partnerships with clients and helping their business grow by developing and delivering the best solutions for attracting candidates
  • Conducting in-person interviews to thoroughly evaluate candidates
  • Involvement in the proposal process by developing and pitching proposals
  • Negotiating Commercial Terms of business and rates

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience running a full desk model, placing candidates and winning new business
  • Prospecting experience is required, with a proven track record of closing business
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and sales tools, such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn recruiter, and job boards
  • A positive attitude and desire to win, with a proven history of consistently achieving quotas or objectives
  • Driven by a desire to achieve meaningful and measurable results, develop as a sales professional
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Adaptable, able to think on your feet, and coachable, willing to implement feedback and continuous self-improvement
