Job Description
As a Business Development Manager at Michael Page, you'll own a varied and stimulating role that challenges you daily. You'll develop your interpersonal and commercial skills, giving you real opportunities for personal and professional growth. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Hunting new business opportunities and lead generation within your target market and territory
- Managing the process from interview through offer stage and close of sale
- Building close partnerships with clients and helping their business grow by developing and delivering the best solutions for attracting candidates
- Conducting in-person interviews to thoroughly evaluate candidates
- Involvement in the proposal process by developing and pitching proposals
- Negotiating Commercial Terms of business and rates
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience running a full desk model, placing candidates and winning new business
- Prospecting experience is required, with a proven track record of closing business
- Familiarity with Salesforce and sales tools, such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn recruiter, and job boards
- A positive attitude and desire to win, with a proven history of consistently achieving quotas or objectives
- Driven by a desire to achieve meaningful and measurable results, develop as a sales professional
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Adaptable, able to think on your feet, and coachable, willing to implement feedback and continuous self-improvement
