Nursing Investigator

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health's Bureau of Health Professions Licensure is seeking a motivated individual to investigate complaints against nurses and advanced nurse practitioners licensed in Massachusetts.
The selected candidate will be responsible for independently overseeing an investigation caseload, gathering evidence, and analyzing it to write detailed investigation reports for the Nursing Board.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have experience in the healthcare field and/or investigations, and be familiar with the Massachusetts Nursing Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Review complaints, reports, and documents to determine the appropriateness of the complaint and the necessary action.
- Obtain evidence and establish facts through interviews and on-site visits.
- Analyze documents and evidence to determine the validity of the complaint.
- Write detailed investigation reports.
- Maintain organized case files and present findings to the Nursing Board.
- Four years of experience in investigatory, law enforcement, or regulatory administration work.
- Equivalent combination of experience and education.
