Diesel Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Equipment Specialist to join our team at US Foods, Inc., a leading foodservice company in the industry.
As a Diesel Equipment Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they are in top condition for safe and efficient transportation of goods.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics, with experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, as well as more complex repairs, including engine overhauls and transmission replacements.
You will work closely with our experienced technicians to diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring that our fleet is always running smoothly and efficiently.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and customers.
We offer a competitive salary of $26.00 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and life insurance. New hires are eligible for a $5,000 retention bonus.
