MRI Technologist

The Cayuga Health System is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team. This role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of healthcare in our community.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

As an MRI Technologist at Cayuga Health System, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of MRI exams, including interventional procedures. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing patients for MRI exams, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
• Operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, following established protocols and guidelines
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation, adhering to departmental policies and procedures
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of an Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or a related field
• Current ARRT certification in MRI and licensure in New York State
• Prior experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in an MRI setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
