About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary

This is a full-time evening shift position, working 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. You will oversee patient care provided by our healthcare team using a professional practice model, conducting detailed clinical assessments, prioritizing patient and family needs, creating, implementing, and evaluating care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective care plans
  • Prioritize patient and family needs, adjusting care plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on health promotion and disease prevention
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of nursing standards, procedures, and laws
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and strong communication skills
  • Experience working in an emergency department setting
  • A current and valid nursing license
