We offer a competitive salary based on experience, with a minimum of $60,000 per year for this Special Education Teacher position in New Hampshire.
Job Description:
This role involves working closely with educators, parents, and specialists to provide personalized support and resources, helping students excel both academically and socially. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging learning experiences using evidence-based practices and innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
Use assistive technology and adaptive tools to enhance student learning.
Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies for maximum success.
Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and specialists to support student development.
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians about their child's progress and goals.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field, with a valid Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for certification. Experience working with students who have a range of learning needs and disabilities is also essential.
Preferred Skills:
In addition to the qualifications above, we are looking for candidates with strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and positive behavior support strategies. The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment is also highly valued.
