Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in Fort Worth, Texas

Job Summary:
Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a half-time inpatient pediatric hospitalist physician to join our hospitalist group at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to patients without assigned staff physicians and provide bedside pediatric teaching to medical students and PL3 family practice residents.
- Work collaboratively with the hospitalist group to provide high-quality patient care and support the medical center's mission to improve the health of every child.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
- Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics.
- Board certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
- American Heart Association BLS Certified.
