About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team in a role supporting our consolidated financial reporting processes in Planful. This dynamic individual will be responsible for processing close-related jobs and tasks, including journal entries for financial consolidation and compiling financial reporting packages.

Responsibilities:
  • Process close-related jobs and tasks, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial reporting packages.
  • Provide Planful system support, maintaining data integrity from subsidiary ERP systems to Planful, and troubleshooting issues within the close process.
  • Review data loads and templates completed by subsidiaries for accuracy, completeness, and operational trends.
  • Compile and communicate monthly foreign exchange rates to U.S. and foreign Finance teams.
  • Work closely with U.S. and foreign Finance teams to understand accounting practices and consolidate their monthly reporting packages.
  • Complete quarterly and annual government surveys.
  • Develop and maintain Planful reports to enhance and improve the reporting process.
  • Administer the Planful database by maintaining system dimensions and hierarchies.
  • Compile quarterly reporting packages for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
  • Compile monthly reporting packages for upper management.
  • Provide training to members of the finance team on utilizing consolidation system and changes in the consolidation process.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and internal resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery of audit schedules.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, including integrating new legal entities and improving the close process.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience in financial close and/or consolidation process. Experience with large, multi-national organizations focusing on manufacturing or technology is a plus. SEC experience is also beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
