As a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare at Hudson Regional Hospital. Your expertise will enable patients to receive high-quality care from the comfort of their own homes, reducing the need for in-person hospital visits.

This challenging role requires strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written. As a fluent English speaker, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with bilingualism preferred but not required. A NJ or multi-state compact RN license is mandatory, along with a Graduate degree from an accredited nursing school. BSN/MSN is preferred, and 6 months to 1 year experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential. BLS - AHA approved certification is a must, and ACLS should be acquired within 6 months of employment.
Your daily tasks will include coordinating patient care, education, and emotional support to patients and their families. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized plans of care that prioritize patient needs. Interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering medication via BCMA, and demonstrating proficiency in life-saving measures are also key responsibilities.
You will also familiarize yourself with new equipment, medications, and nursing processes by attending in-service education opportunities. Adhering to infection prevention protocols, HIPPA rules, and current patient safety standards is crucial. Proper discharge instructions and medication reconciliation, including follow-up referrals, are also essential duties.
