Additionally, this position will engage in crisis intervention, counseling, and advocacy, while also promoting preventive measures and education within the community.
Compassion, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential in building trusting relationships and supporting clients in achieving their goals for health and social stability.
This job performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Masters in Social Work
- Required Licensure: Current license in Social Work in the state of employment (LMSW, LCSW)
- Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) (CPR) at hire date, or within 90 days
- Preferred Certifications: Certification in Case Management
- Preferred Experience: 2 years' experience in acute care hospital setting
