About the Job

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires EMTs to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, provide critical care, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients. As an EMT with AMR, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and public safety personnel to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' conditions and provide necessary care using appropriate medical techniques and equipment
  • Document patient information, treatment, and condition while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights
  • Operate an ambulance safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and traffic laws
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and public safety personnel to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • A State Driver's License
  • National or State EMT-Basic certification
  • CPR/BLS certifications
  • A clean driving record in compliance with company policy
  • The ability to pass a Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
