Job Title: Staff Dentist

Job Summary:
Bullhook Community Health Center is seeking a skilled Staff Dentist to provide high-quality oral health services to patients of all ages. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for examining patients, diagnosing dental/oral conditions, and prescribing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Examine patients, diagnose dental/oral conditions, and prescribe treatment plans in accordance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines.
2. Record patient-dentist transactions in the patient's dental record, ensuring accurate and complete documentation of care provided.
3. Educate patients about oral health-related conditions and promote disease prevention.
4. Participate in the development of dental department policies, protocols, and procedures.
5. Collaborate with the primary care team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements:
1. Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Montana.
2. Current CPR (BLS) certification.
3. Unrestricted Montana DEA.
4. Medicare and Medicaid provider numbers.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Completion of an accredited general practice residency program.
2. Knowledge of public health principles and practices.
3. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges.

Work Environment:
Bullhook Community Health Center is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours. The successful candidate will be able to distinguish letters and symbols, utilize telephones, computer terminals, and copiers, and work in a clinical environment with frequent exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
