Role Overview

As a CT Technologist with PSG Global Solutions Careers, you will play a vital role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of patient illness. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest quality images are produced, and your ability to interact with patients will be crucial in making them feel at ease during the examination process.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT diagnostic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions according to department procedures and protocols.
Locate and record internal elements of the body, and identify any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
Monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes.
Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
Review tests with peers and physician.
Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested according to department procedures.
Distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers.
Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
Maintain patient charts, entering diagnosis and billing codes, logging data into patient information systems, and updating file systems for tests performed.
Clean and sterilize equipment and work space.
Recognize equipment malfunctions and readjust equipment or write referrals for repair.
Instruct patients in pretest preparation, answer questions, and explain procedures.
Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedure.

Requirements

Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years CT clinical experience required.
Valid ARRT license, registered in CT.
VIA experience a plus.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal needed.
Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous responsible, professional and ethical manner.
Must be flexible, reliable and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
