Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for General Cardiology

Seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Sentara Cardiology Specialists in the Western Tidewater area. As a key member of our collaborative team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work closely with our dedicated physicians to deliver seamless care to our patients.
Key highlights of this position include:
- General Cardiology
- Flexible scheduling with 5-9s, 7:30-4:30 (inpatient) and 8-5 (outpatient) shifts, with a day off every other week
- Inpatient duties include H&P's, rounding, and discharging with the exclusion of procedures
- Outpatient duties include seeing up to 15 patients on your own schedule
- Call Schedule 1:3, with phone-only responsibilities

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Authorization to prescribe license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification
