About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Construction Safety Professional to join our project team. This on-site, full-time role is crucial to our mission of building a World Class Safety Culture in construction.

Job Description

This dynamic position involves developing, implementing, and enforcing site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards.

  • Safety Program Development: Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Safety Training: Provide safety training on essential topics: fall protection, equipment operation, hazard recognition, and emergency protocols.
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct frequent site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards and risks.
  • Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, documenting findings, root causes, and corrective actions.
  • Communication: Foster open communication on safety concerns among workers, supervisors, and contractors.
Requirements

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:

  • Experience: 5+ years in construction safety.
  • Certifications: CSHO and CHST certifications preferred; MEWPs instructor qualification desired.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam/Adobe, and adept with various operating systems and applications.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership Abilities: Ability to quickly establish credibility and build rapport with team members.

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of the job.
