Job Summary:

The Mountain Host team member will enhance the guest experience to achieve the goal of 100% satisfaction through engagement, connecting with, assisting, and valuing the guests. This role requires a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist guests in the arrival and departure of parking lots and base facilities; assist guests with directions, information, and public relations.
  • Set up ski information boards, ski racks, and picnic tables, distribute trail maps.
  • Remove snow with shovels or snow blowers.
  • Perform line control at lifts and assist with lift-down situations.
  • Lead 1 hour mountain tours twice during the day.
  • Be an ambassador at all lift locations during the day to provide information and promote Alyeska Resort and all available product offerings.
  • Maintain vigilance for a safe mountain experience by monitoring mountain ski runs for injured guests and/or guests needing assistance.
  • Perform effective speed control throughout the day by educating skiers and riders.
