About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Field Territory Sales Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling Johnson Controls' Metasys Controls, Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit offerings, Open Blue digital solutions, and Planned Service Agreements to facility directors, C-suite executives, and VP-level decision-makers.
Duties and Responsibilities- Sell Johnson Controls' Metasys Controls, Design/Build Mechanical Retrofit offerings, Open Blue digital solutions, and Planned Service Agreements to building owners with minimal supervision.
- Focus on improving existing and new facilities to enable building owners to achieve business objectives.
- Achieve assigned revenue targets in annual Prime Retrofit sales within assigned accounts and markets and meet assigned margin targets.
- Build partnering relationships with owner representatives responsible for decision-making processes to drive the sale of all Johnson Controls HVAC-related solutions and offerings.
- Address customer operational and environmental objectives, needs, and requirements, recommending solutions that link customer objectives to total value and competitive advantage.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in HVAC Controls sales or related industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the HVAC industry.
- Experience selling advanced analytics and integrated digital solutions.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in business.
- Professional interpersonal communication and collaborative skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications and various reporting tools and systems, including financial, market share Salesforce, and BI tools.
