Workers' Compensation Law Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Workers' Compensation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team at GPAC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Workers' Compensation Law and will be responsible for assisting attorneys in preparing and filing workers' compensation documents, conducting legal research, and communicating with clients and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing workers' compensation documents, including claims, petitions, and appeals.
- Conduct legal research on workers' compensation laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Gather and organize client information, including medical records, employment history, and accident reports.
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, insurance companies, and other attorneys regarding case updates and requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys and clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
- Assist with the preparation of settlement agreements and other related legal documents.
