Join Our Team as a Cardiac SonographerAbout the Position:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our dedicated team. This role involves performing essential ultrasound procedures to obtain preliminary echocardiographic measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prescribed ultrasound examinations utilizing various equipment to achieve accurate echocardiographic results.
- Demonstrate proficiency in adult echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and contrast studies.
- Adhere to departmental imaging protocols, ensuring all echocardiographic measurements are accurately captured and documented.
- Prepare and organize ultrasound rooms to meet the specific requirements of cardiologists and physicians.
- Communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physician when necessary and create digital preliminary reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the department.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program is required.
- Preferred candidates will have a CAAHEP accredited program with an emphasis on cardiac sonography.
- A minimum of one year of experience as a cardiac sonographer is required.
