Cake Artist

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Lowes Foods in Morehead City, NC. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and pastries that exceed our customers' expectations.

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Cake Decorating: Prepare product for sale by decorating cakes with icing, fondant, and other toppings.
• Product Maintenance: Maintain product level, quality, and freshness by following proper storage and handling procedures.
• Bakery Support: Assist with tasks such as pricing, packaging, and labeling products.
• Customer Service: Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests, ensuring a positive brand-aligned experience.

Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills, including the ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Qualifications: Friendly, outgoing personality, ability to work well with others, and must be at least 18 years old.
