About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Innovator to join our team at Boats Group. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that meet the strategic objectives of our company.

As a Tech Innovator, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and determine the best solutions. You will build a deep understanding of our company's goals and develop creative solutions to achieve them.

What You'll Do

  • Understand the short and long-term direction of Boats Group and contribute to its architectural vision
  • Analyze specific and implied requirements and collaborate with other members of the development team to design, build, and deliver features
  • Develop software solutions using Java, Node.js, and other technologies
  • Contribute to the continued development and maintenance of several high-traffic, high-availability web sites
  • Communicate effectively with other employees both inside and outside the development team
  • Document systems, procedures, and processes relevant to our suite of applications

What You Should Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing and maintaining complex enterprise web applications
  • Experience with version control systems (Git), continuous integration, and unit testing
  • Strong understanding of agile software development processes
  • Knowledge of database technologies, both relational and noSQL
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship now or in the future
