Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Russian/E EUR Language Linguist to join our team at FedSys. The ideal candidate will possess advanced language translation and interpretation skills, with the ability to perform a wide range of linguistic activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex texts from Russian/E EUR to English with high accuracy and nuance.
  • Perform transcription services, reviewing audio materials and writing/transcribing information with a high-degree of accuracy and expression.
  • Conduct interpretation services, adhering to translation/transcription/interpretation protocols.
  • Participate in linguistic activities, including blogging, content management, editing, language training, monitoring, quality control, scanning, selection, subject matter expertise, summarizing/gisting, terminology management, translation-related services, triage, workflow, writing reports, and writing analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5-10 or more years of professional work experience.
  • Near native proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in Russian/E EUR and English.
  • Must be able to perform full range of activities as a linguist, including translation, transcription, and interpretation.

Working Conditions:

This is a Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day shift. Some travel may be expected in support of customers' needs.

Security Clearance: Currently, Linguists must possess and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
